Sugar Free Breakfast Cherry Muffins
Wake up and dive right into one of these Sugar Free Breakfast Cherry Muffins which will keep your blood sugar stabilized and keep you feeling full for hours!
Ingredients
- 1¾ cup cherries, pitted
- ½ cup almond milk
- ¾ cup applesauce
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tsp butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix baking powder, flax seeds and flour. Stir in milk, vanilla extract, eggs, apple sauce and butter. Mix well.
- Stir in cherries, mix slowly.
- Using a muffin tray, scoop mixture evenly into each cup.
- Bake on 350F for 25 - 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
